The difference is doubles is played with two players rather than four. Teams can be mixed, ladies only or men only. The game is shorter too, with five stones per end, and eight ends per game. Games are typically 1.5 hours in length. Teams can be any combination of players &#8211; ladies, men&#8217;s or mixed. If you don&#8217;t have a team mate, but want to play, let us know and we will help you find one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For details on how the game is played<\/strong> click <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.playdoublescurling.com\/#gameplay\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TRIPLES<\/span><\/strong> (also known as 3-6-6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re pleased to offer a Triples or 3-6-6 League on Mondays at 4:15 pm. &#8211; with socializing after in the Lounge (of course!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Triples is a fun 90-minute game where three players (hence the Triples name), play 6 ends with each player rotating positions every 2 ends which allows an opportunity to play each of the positions in a game &#8211; Skip, Middle and Lead.\u00a0Standard rules of curling and scoring apply. Teams can be any combination of players &#8211; ladies, men&#8217;s or mixed.
