Lessons and Clinics
Qualicum and District Curling Club is committed to providing curling education and instruction to all levels of curlers.
Check the schedule for our 2009-10 NOVICE and INTERMEDIATE clinic schedules, which will be posted soon.
Instructional clinics held each year may include:
- Novice clinics early in the season
- Intermediate clinics throughout the year
- Kidscurl clinics – workshops that teach us how to teach curling to kids.
- Special modules such as Strategy, Delivery, Sweeping Techniques
- Curl BC sanctioned clinics; Level I Technical etc.
Qualicum and District Curling Club believes that by educating and training members, we can excel as a learning centre for new curlers. With the help of careful financial planning and local sponsors, we have been able to provide scholarships for members interested in developing their skills as curlers and teachers.

The Qualicum Novice Clinic is a fantastic place to learn to curl! This clinic is offered every fall at the beginning of the curling season, and graduates are welcomed into the Novice League, where they can spend their first season curling in mentored teams comprised of new and experienced curlers.
